While he began his career as a post-bop jass artists on the vibraphone, he later became a major figure in pioneering jazz-funk with his band, Roy Ayers Ubiquity. Known for blending deep grooves with soul, funk & R&B, Roy Ayers remains one of the most heavily sampled artists in today's Hip-Hop & R&B.

An incredible compilation of four previously unreleased tracks along with four brand new reinterpretations of celebrated deep cuts (by producer and misxing engineer Dennis "ROC.am" Jones) on limited edition vinyl in a gatefold jacket with an beautiful lithograph.
